Design, layout and color separation are performed at the rate of $50 per hour
and usually take 30 minutes to an hour to accomplish.

Business card printing costs depend upon several variables, including quantity of cards,
type of card stock, printing process (spot color or full color), number of colors of ink,
and whether you are using standard process colors (like those in an eight-pack of Crayolas)
or custom mixed colors. Other factors that affect pricing include bleeds
(designs that "run" off the edge of the paper),
tight registration (differing colors of text or graphics that are placed in very close proximity to one another),
and traps ("islands" of color that are placed directly inside objects of a different color).
The most important thing to keep in mind is that we use the same wholesale printer
that is contracted by Kinko's, Alphagraphics, and Office Max—our printing prices,
however, are guaranteed to run at least 20% less than the aforementioned
"big guys" in the Albuquerque business card market.

Once your card design goes to the printer, it is usually ready for pickup at our
university area office within one or two business days.
